From October 10-12, 2018, we attended the 2018 Seaweed Congress, organized by the Seaweed Industry Association of the Philippines. The congress was focusing on sustainability opportunities and challenges for the seaweed industry.

During the congress we were able to network with many experts and Filipino producers of carrageenan and learn about their approaches and government support programmes for the seaweed and carrageenan industry..
